Old Decaying Building Glen Rose, Texas

My wife has been wanting to photograph this building for several years now. We took her on a drive for Mother’s day and this was one of the first stops.
Processed with Dan Margulis’ Picture Postcard Photoshop workflow.
Steps:
1. RGB curves in color blend to fix color casts.
1.5 Blended R channel to B. and applied s-curves to R and G.
2. Applied false 1.6 Gamma RGB profile
3. Converted to Dan’s fake Black CMYK profile and adjusted the K channel.
4. converted LAB and did a multiply layer with a L channel layer mask.
5. Did an overlay with the original L channel at 75%. Decreased the overlay layer to 60%.
6. Sharpened.
This was the bad result from my first attempt. Without the false gamma profile and the the fake black from cmyk steps. Also messed up on the color cast correction in step one and forgot a mask on the overlay step at the end.
